Day 26

"But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous."  Matthew 5:44-45

My Heavenly Father,
Your love and acceptance never stop. You are the well of grace and love that I must continually draw from.

Help me today to love those who are hard for me to love. Humble me in their presence and show me a side of them that I've been too prideful to see. Help me to see them through Your eyes of love. Remind me that You created them and that You love them. And help me to forgive them.

I ask that You would be with those people and that You would protect them. Whatever past pain or hurt causes them to lash out, bring it to the surface and heal them... not for my sake, but for theirs. Give them joy and peace.

Thank You for being our Redeemer and for breaking down the barriers between Your children. Thank You for loving us so and for being so patient with us.

Through Your Son's name I pray, Amen.
