Day 36

In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. Hebrews 1:1-2

My God, You are the one who spoke and still speaks. You are the one who came to us and still comes to us.

Give me a discerning heart toward the Holy Spirit. Teach me to hear. Teach me to be still and silent so that I can hear You. Give me silence and stillness today. I will wait on You.

Father, point my friends and family to Your truth. As they are trying to determine which way to go and what decisions to make, give them the strength to choose Your way above their own.

Thank You for the hope we have in You and that we have eternity to look forward to. As much as I love living this life, I long for the day when You will welcome me Home.
