Day 4

Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live. 1 Corinthians 8:6

God, You are my Father who gives all good things. I have life because of You, and there is no one like You, and no one above You.

Help me to remember that You alone are God. Show me the idols and things in my life that I worship... I know that only You deserve worship and today I choose to worship only You.

Give my friends and loved ones freedom from their idols so that they can fully enjoy being part of Your family. Help them to know that You are their Creator and Father and that You want nothing on this earth to have ownership of them.

Thank You for loving us, Your creation, even when we put other things in front of You.
