Day 38

‘Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; ‘he will lead them to springs of living water. ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.' Revelation 7:16-17

Dear God, only You take away pain and suffering. You lift our burdens and bring comfort, all in Your perfect timing.

Keep my eyes heavenward. When I become distracted and my thoughts stray to worrying about the future or regretting the past, help me to focus on You.

Bring freedom to my friends who are living with regret. Give them the strength to let go and remind them that You will wipe every tear from their eyes.

Thank You for sending Your Son to us. Thank You for shepherding us and for leading us to Your fountain of life. Thank You for fulfilling all Your promises.
