Day 37

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth. Philippians 2:9-10

Father, Your name is above all other names. You deserve all my worship and my praise.

Help me to remember that the same power that conquered the grave also lives in me. So often I take for granted what Christ did for me. Teach me the truths of Jesus as if I am hearing them for the first time. Restore to me the joy of my salvation.

Please help my friends and family to see that Your way is righteous and true. Help them to desire to follow Your ways.

We want our friends and family to follow You, but Mighty God, we also want our co-workers and neighbors to come to know You. We want those that we meet on corners, grocery stores, and parking lots… the families of children that our kids go to school with, those that we see at sport events and movie theaters, the baristas that serve us coffee and the pizza delivery person… Oh God, help them to find their way back to You. Help us to speak boldly of Your love for them. And to meet the need for more people to gather together to celebrate You, we pray for the next campus. We ask for wisdom and direction. Help us to keep in step with You.

Thank You, God, that You give us what we need when we need it. Thank You for Your faithfulness. Thank You for being so patient and kind to us.
